DEMI LOVATO is urging the press to stop speculating about her relationship with JONAS BROTHERS singer JOE JONAS - because she's sick of seeing romance rumors splashed across the front pages.The 17 year old, who starred alongside the sibling trio in music movie Camp Rock, fueled speculation she's in a relationship with Joe after the pair was spotted enjoying a double date with the singer's brother, Kevin Jonas, and his fiancee Danielle Deleasa, last month (Oct09). Lovato has dismissed the reports and is sick of the media using her love life to fill gossip columns. Taking to her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "There's been a lot of rumors lately that I'm dating one of my best friends, Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not. He's incredible, but we don't have feelings for each other in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn't lie about that. DEMI LOVATO's career almost ended before it began - she was almost crushed by children's star BARNEY when she was eight.The singer/actress started her career as one of the giant purple dinosaur's sidekicks on hit show Barney & Friends. She loved the experience, but it could have ended so differently. Lovato, who celebrated her 17th birthday on Thursday (20Aug09), tells Starpulse.com, "We were shooting one day (and) I almost got trampled by it (Barney) because I wasn't paying attention. And that was frightening because the suit's extremely heavy."

The track will be available as a download on Tuesday (11Aug09) and the video will premiere on. TV on 28 August (09), immediately following Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie on the Disney Channel.

DEMI LOVATO has bounded to the top of the album charts with her second album, HERE WE GO AGAIN.The release is the fourth Disney Music Group album to hit the top of the Billboard 200 chart in the past year, behind hits by the Jonas Brothers, Rascal Flatts and Miley Cyrus. But Demi Lovato's 108,000 first-week sales lag behind those of Michael Jackson's 2003 hits album Number Ones, which sold 154,000 copies last week. The King of Pop's compilation is ineligible for the mainstream countdown. Meanwhile, Daughtry's Leave This Town and Maxwell's BLACK summersnight both drop spots to two and three, respectively, on the new chart. Jordin Sparks' new release Battlefield debuts at seven.

DEMI LOVATO has ended her budding romance with TRACE CYRUS, MILEY CYRUS' rocker brother, because the two stars are never in the same place at the same time.The Disney star, 16, has been romantically linked to Trace Cyrus since earlier this year (09), but distance has forced the couple apart. Lovato has been busy juggling her music and screen commitments while the 20 year old's band Metro Station has been touring the country. DEMI LOVATO suffered an embarrassing mishap during her concert in Pennsylvania at the weekend when she stumbled down a flight of stairs onstage.The teenage star was performing in Philadelphia on Saturday (27Jun09) when she lost her footing and landed on her backside during a performance of Next To Me. But Demi Lovato proved she had a good sense of humor by simply laughing off the incident, getting back up on her feet to finish the performance as she attempted to stifle her giggles and complete the song.

Teen star DEMI LOVATO has slammed her estranged father, accusing him of lying to the press about reconciling with her and her family.Demi Lovato's dad moved out when the Disney actress was just two years old, but recently claimed in interviews he'd reunited with the star and her two sisters. The claims have infuriated 16-year-old Demi Lovato, who says, "We still are (estranged). It's not exactly how he made it out to be. It didn't have the fairy tale ending that he portrayed. The last time I talked to him was two years ago." And she insists a reconciliation isn't on the cards: "You try to have faith in somebody, even when you're the last person that believes in him. But when somebody lets you down after you've been the only one there for them, and so many times, you don't know what to do. "I had to cut off all connection. It was hurting me too much."

Best pals SELENA GOMEZ and DEMI LOVATO ditched a glamorous film party to invade a high school prom in Canada on Thursday (18Jun09).   The two Disney stars were in Toronto celebrating the launch of her new TV movie Princess Protection Program when they decided to check out a prom at nearby Etobicoke Collegiate Institute.     Security guards allowed the 16 year olds to sneak into the event, where they mingled with stunned students, and even took to the dance floor to show off her moves.     Prom night came to an end for the teens at 11pm, however, after the party-crashers were asked to leave because they weren't students.     Gomez was still on a high after the event, writing on her Twitter.com blog: "PPP (Princess Protection Program) peeps and I crashed a prom tonight and danced with a highschool!! amazing!! I finally had prom!"
