So, we went to the Alyson Upside Down premiere in Seattle and asked Alyson about Camp Rock and the Jonas Brothers!
Rachel had Alyson sign one of our Camp Rock posters, and they were also signing out posters of 'Alice Upside Down'. The two of them thanked us for coming to see them. We asked Alyson how the Camp Rock Premiere was and she said that it was really, really fun to see everyone from the movie again. She also said that it was one of her first big run-ins with the paparazzi, and the fans there were crazy! (No offense, but I'm pretty sure those were the Jonas Brothers' fans.)
Q: What did you like filming more, Camp Rock or Alice Upside Down?
A: Alyson liked filming AUD better because it was more challenging and it was her first lead role in a film.
By the time all of our people were ready to go Alyson had gone outside. We went out and decided to wait around and ask her what we had really been dying to know all along. When she was finished taking pictures we went up and asked her 'What was it like filming with the Jonas Brothers?' She smiled and said that it was really fun. She said that she went to dance parties in their cabin, she played tennis and golf with them, that they were really sweet, genuine guys, that there family was reallys supportive and nice, and that they were always praying and that they're always trying to make sure that they aren't getting caught up in the business. She also said that going into filming she didn't know what to expect from, but she was pleasently surprised.

Re: Alyson at the Upside Down Premiere
Today we went to the Seattle International film festival to see the premiere of Alyson Stoner's new film Alice Upside Down. There were about 25 people in line when we arrived, a few more showed up behind us. Most of them were older, but here were a few younger kids and then us who were the only teenagers there. Ha. We saw Allison with the Director of the movie Sandy Tung (see picture.) Then we all filed into the theatre were Alyson and Sandy sat in front of the big screen. We walked down to the bottom of the theatre to go talk to Alyson and Sandy and get their autographs. We walked up to them and Alyson and Sandy greeted us with a big smile. They were very friendly. Rachel had Alyson sign one of our Camp Rock posters, and they were also signing out posters of "Alice Upside Down". The two of them thanked us for coming to see them. We asked Alyson how the Camp Rock Premiere was and she said that it was really, really fun to see everyone from the movie again. She also said that it was one of her first big run-ins with the paparazzi, and the fans there were crazy! (No offense, but I'm pretty sure those were the Jonas Brothers' fans.) Then we introduced her to Iris, our friend from France and she said that when she was 3, she took French lessons and went on a trip with her family to France. Since she was the only one who could speak French, she was the translator. Haha! Then we all took pictures with her individually, then went back to our seats.
Before the movie was about to start, Alyson and Sandy spoke to the audience a little. They were explaining to us why Lucas Grabeel couldn't be there at the premiere too (he was filming High School Musical 3) and the decided that they would try to call him and get him on the line. They wipped out there phones, but unfortunately there was no service. =[ It was pretty funny to watch both of them waving there phones around the place trying to pick up some bars, though. Then they basically said "enjoy the movie everyone!" and went to go take their seats, too. Alyson sat in the row in front of us, right in front of Katie's dad! The movie was really good, actually much better than we expected. Even Katie's dad liked it! She did a great job in this role and it was much different from all the other ones she's done. For one thing, she was in every single scene and this role was much more challenging. She played a tomboy named Alice who's mother died, and she lives with her Dad and older brother. It starts off with them moving and Alice is faced with all kinds of troubles because she doesn't fit in very well. A lot of unfortunate things happen to her, but in the end everything turns out okay. After the movie Alyson and Sandy did a Q&A for all the people who came to see the movie. Some people asked Sandy questions about the film but here are some of the Alyson directed questions: (Rachel) Q: What was your favorite scene to film? A: Alyson's favorite scene was one where her and her dad talk and she cries. She said that she liked it because it was very challenging. Instead of using unnatural methods to produce tears she actually thought of seeing her mom for the last time to produce real tears to make it seem more genuine. She also thanked her mom for everything that she does for her. Q: What did you like filming more, Camp Rock or Alice Upside Down? A: Alyson liked filming AUD better because it was more challenging and it was her first lead role in a film. Q: How old were you when you started your career? A: She said that she was 3 when she started dancing and seven when she started acting. She said that she was at a convention in L.A. and an agency thought that she had potential so they started flying her out to L.A. every couple of weeks until she proved her potential and then had her family move to L.A. Q: How many movies have you been in? A: About 11 or eight. Q:Can you do some of the voices from movies that you've been in before? A: Alyson did Phineas and ferb voices and some other weird voice that wasn't from a movie. Q: (There was a part in the movie were Alyson sings really off key) Do your really sing that badly? A: She said that she sang the introduction song and the fantasy song, which is in the trailor. So, no, she's actually pretty good.
There were a few other questions.... but we don't remember. They also talked a little bit about Alyson's mother, who happened to be sitting in front of Katie's dad. He even talked to her mom a couple of times. After that everyone left the theater except for Alyson but we had to wait in the lobby while some of our party went to the bathroom. While we were waiting Sandy Tung came out and talked to us. He asked us how we liked the movie and thanked us for coming to see it. Rachel asked him when the movie is going to be released and he said that it was going to come out on dvd in July. By the time all of our people were ready to go Alyson had gone outside. We went out and decided to wait around and ask her what we had really been dying to know all along. When she was finished taking pictures we went up and asked her "What was it like filming with the Jonas Brothers?" She smiled and said that it was really fun. Katie's little sister, Madeline, asked for a hug but called her "Alice" on accident. haha. Then we all left.
