Katie and Karleigh recently interviewed Article A, a young up and coming band out of New Jersey.
K&K: Can you please introduce yourself to our readers, and your role in the group?
Yeeeeeeoooooooo! What’s up everyone! We are Article A from New Jersey. The band is, Christian on vocals, Gary on guitar, Evan on drums and Joe on bass.
K&K: How did you get started in the music industry?
Christian’s grandfather was working on a building where he ran into our producer PJ Bianco. He had his first studio in that building. His grandfather gave Christian his number and the rest is history!
K&K: How did you first come together as a group?
We grew up together in North Jersey, our parents were all friends, and just decided one day to take the love for music that we all had, and…..try to take over the world!
K&K: What has influenced you musically?
Individually, our tastes vary, but as a whole we listen to Boys Like Girls, Plain White T’s, We the Kings, The Academy is…, Weezer, The Foo Fighters….. stuff like that
K&K: What’s your favorite song to perform?
Christian- What’s The Point
Evan- Oh yeah!
Joe- Stay Now
Gary- Goodnight Goodbye
K&K: If you could tour with anyone who would that be?
Any of the bands mentioned in question 3, but we really like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea seems like he would a lot of fun to hang with!
K&K: What does the next year look like for you?
Playing shows! Tour baby!
K&K: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Hopefully, a couple number hits, tourin’ the world….I’ll throw in the MTV Music Awards (it’s a dream, that we hope becomes a reality!)
K&K: Is there anything you’d like to say to your fans?
